A NOTE FROM THE FOUNDER

GivingTree is bigger than me in every way that counts — except official headcount, at least for now.

My name is Matt, and I’m the one behind GivingTree’s work.

I use “we” around this site because GivingTree is a vision, a community, and a set of values I believe in. It’s just my hands creating it right now.

What I care about, and what GivingTree is built around, is using communications, research, strategy, and human connections to accelerate the impact economy — impact investors, NGOs, sustainability teams, and purpose-driven businesses.

GivingTree wouldn’t exist without a community of incredible collaborators across the U.S., Brazil, and beyond. If you’ve worked with me, you know that.
